Logging in with Two-Factor Authentication

How to set up and use Two-Factor Authentication, if your organization requires it.

Set up your Timescapes to log in with Two-Factor Authentication

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) helps protect your account by making it more difficult for someone else to sign in to your account. It requires you use two different forms of identity: your password / SSO login, and a verification code, each time you sign in.

If your Company Administrator enables Two-Factor Authentication, you will be prompted to set up Two-Factor Authentication the next time you log in or accept an invitation:

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Click the invitation email from your Project Admin to create an account / set up Two-Factor Authentication on Timescapes
  2. Install an organization-approved authenticator app on your mobile phone, such as “Microsoft Authenticator” , Google Authenticator, or Authy.
  3. Open the app and select ‘Add account’ or ‘scan QR code’
  4. Scan the QR code on Timescapes from within the Authenticator App
  5. Enter the 6 digit code in Timescapes.
  6. You’re set up! You’ll need that phone or device on you each time you log in.
